Press Record is the second-hand story. There are errors, there are inconsistencies, there are mistakes. One human lifetime is explored through the lens of ten different relationships- a high school friend, a sister, a lover, a therapist, a local gas station attendant. Unfortunately, the man whom the story is about is no longer able to tell it. Our departed, Daniel Marsden, left the ending, and the beginning, in the hands of another, a person inextricably linked to Daniel by a fatal encounter and who only knew Daniel for a moment in time. After months of terror and malaise, this individual came to the realization that the only way to redeem his own story was to create a legacy for Daniel's. And in the process, a confrontation- a question we all face- ‘Why is the person I think I am so different than the person others perceive me to be?'
